Architecture of Dinh 3 Bao Dai
Dinh 3 in Da Lat features a modern European design and shares a similar structure with Dinh 1 and Dinh 2. Bao Dai's Palace (Dinh 3) has two floors:
Ground Floor: Working and Reception Area.
Used for meetings, receptions, and entertaining foreign guests and officials of the Imperial Court. The main entrance is moderately wide (about 4m), with a front hall leading to the ground floor, which houses the reception room and offices: to the right are King Bao Dai's room and the library; to the left are the reception area and other offices; further inside is the entertainment area.

It is worth noting that the arrangement of the palace's working rooms cleverly integrates interior and exterior architectural elements, connected by walkways and corridors made of iron frames. This creates a harmonious blend of architecture and nature.
Second Floor: Living area for King Bao Dai's family.
The entire second floor of the palace was used for private living, including the bedrooms of King Bao Dai, Empress Nam Phuong, Princesses and Prince Bao Long, Princess Phuong Mai, Princess Phuong Lien, and Prince Bao Thang.

In front of the emperor's bedroom is the beautiful Vong Nguyet Tower, where the king and empress would gaze at the moon. As Crown Prince Bao Long was chosen as the heir to the throne (around 1939), his room was entirely decorated in yellow.
