Empress Nam Phuong was born on December 14, 1914, with the full name Nguyen Huu Thi Lan, the daughter of Duke Nguyen Huu Hao. She was known as the empress of Emperor Bao Dai during the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnamese history and was also the only empress of the Nguyen Dynasty to be crowned while still alive.

However, she did not visit here often, only during holidays with her children in Da Lat. Although it is called a palace, it does not have the grandeur and size of Palaces 1, 2, and 3. This place was built in a French style combined with classical Asian architecture, with tiled roofs, brick walls, and thick stone walls of 40cm to ensure warmth in each room and a cool feeling during hot weather.

All components of the system, such as doors, stairs, upper floors, and furniture, are made of wood. This combination not only creates an expansive space but also makes every detail in the house luxurious and classic. Even more special is the heating system made of granite imported from Italy.
The upper floor is built in the shape of a pentagram with a round roof. This is also where artifacts from the Nguyen Dynasty are displayed.
This mansion has a total of 10 rooms, of which Empress Nam Phuong's room is on the second floor. Currently, many of her belongings and artifacts are still perfectly preserved. The arrangement of the mansion reflects the luxury of royalty, creating a noble and regal living space.
The palace also includes Crown Prince Bao Long's bedroom, a waiting room, a living room, and a kitchen, all designed to be spacious, elegant, and luxurious.
